DocuSentry Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

DocuSentry provides document management tools for Shopify stores. This policy explains what data we process and the choices available to you.

1. Data we collect

When you install the app, we receive your store domain, shop identifier, authorized user and session information required by Shopify.

You may provide document metadata, including titles, types, languages, version and batch notes, source file URLs, product assignments, library settings, and feedback. We do not copy or store the contents of your document files.

We record limited operational events, review-invitation preferences, file health results, and technical logs. Error monitoring may process request paths, timestamps, store identifiers, and error details. We configure monitoring not to send document contents, URL query strings, access tokens, customer data, or order data.

2. How we use data

We use this data to publish and version documents, create permanent links and QR codes, assign documents to products, operate the storefront library, check file health, provide support, secure and troubleshoot the service, and improve the product.

3. Service providers and sharing

Shopify processes data through its APIs. Railway hosts the application and PostgreSQL database. If error monitoring is enabled, Sentry processes limited technical error data on our behalf.

We do not sell personal or merchant data. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights and service security.

4. Retention and deletion

We retain business data while the app is installed. When Shopify sends a valid uninstall webhook, active application records and sessions for that store are deleted.

Infrastructure backups and provider logs may temporarily retain deleted records until they expire under the configured provider retention settings. Contact us to request confirmation or deletion where applicable.

5. Security

Traffic is transmitted over HTTPS. Shopify scopes are limited to app functionality, file URL checks include protections against private-network access, and business queries are scoped by store identifier. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices

You can request access, correction, or deletion of data associated with your store. Feedback and app-review invitations are optional, and you can choose not to be asked again.

7. No compliance advice

DocuSentry manages documents you provide. It does not draft safety documents or provide legal or regulatory compliance advice.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will post the revised date here. For privacy questions or requests, email Micheal.anderson1997@outlook.com.
