DocuSentry Terms of Service

Last updated: August 9, 2026

These terms govern your use of DocuSentry. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. Service

DocuSentry helps Shopify merchants organize, link, publish, version, and monitor documents they provide. Features may change during a private or limited beta.

2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, ownership, and regulatory suitability of every document and URL you provide, for choosing the products to which a document applies, and for maintaining appropriate backups of your source files.

3. No legal or compliance advice

DocuSentry does not create or certify SDS files or other documents and does not determine whether your store, products, or documents comply with any law, regulation, standard, contract, or marketplace requirement.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to publish unlawful or infringing material, probe or attack systems, bypass Shopify controls, access another merchant's data, or interfere with service availability.

5. Beta availability

Beta features are provided for evaluation and may contain errors or experience interruptions. We may change or discontinue beta functionality after reasonable notice. Do not rely on the service as the only copy of a legally required document.

6. Fees

Any current fee or free-beta period will be disclosed before charging. Paid Shopify apps will use Shopify's approved billing system. App Store reviews and feedback are always optional and are never required for access or discounts.

7. Intellectual property

You retain rights in content you provide. You grant us the limited permission needed to process that content and its metadata solely to operate and support the service. DocuSentry and its software remain ours.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service by uninstalling it. We may restrict service for security threats, unlawful use, material breach, or risks to Shopify or other merchants. Data handling after uninstall is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, file validity, regulatory compliance, or that third-party URLs will remain accessible. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
