DocuSentry Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of DocuSentry. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms.
1. Service
DocuSentry helps Shopify merchants organize, link, publish, version, and monitor documents they provide. We may improve or change features over time and will give reasonable notice of material changes when practicable.
2. Your documents and responsibilities
You are responsible for having the right to use each document and source URL you provide; checking its accuracy, completeness, current version, batch and product applicability; deciding where to publish it; and keeping your own copies of source files. You should review how documents appear on your storefront after publishing.
3. Limits of document checks
DocuSentry can check technical access to a source URL and dates you enter, but does not review a document's contents, create or certify SDS files, verify that a document applies to a particular product or batch, or determine compliance with laws, regulations, standards, contracts, or marketplace rules. A healthy link is not a compliance approval.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to publish unlawful or infringing material, probe or attack systems, bypass Shopify controls, access another merchant's data, or interfere with service availability.
5. Beta availability
The app is currently in beta and may contain errors or experience interruptions. Do not rely on DocuSentry as the only copy of a legally required document or as your only way to make that document available.
6. Free beta and future paid plans
DocuSentry is free during the beta. Stores that install the app before we first offer paid plans can keep their existing free plan after paid plans launch. We will not automatically move those stores to a paid plan or charge them. New features may be offered only in optional paid plans. A merchant will be charged only if they choose a paid plan and approve its charge through Shopify. App Store reviews and feedback are always optional and are never required for access or discounts.
7. Intellectual property
You retain rights in content you provide. You grant us the limited permission needed to process that content and its metadata solely to operate and support the service. DocuSentry and its software remain ours.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service by uninstalling it. Uninstalling may make DocuSentry storefront pages, downloads, and QR links unavailable, so arrange another way to provide any required documents first. We may restrict service for security threats, unlawful use, material breach, or risks to Shopify or other merchants. The Privacy Policy explains deletion of active app data and the separate retention of backups and provider logs.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, the validity or legal sufficiency of your files, regulatory compliance, or continued availability of third-party source URLs. Any limitation of liability is subject to applicable law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will post the revised date here. When practicable, we will give reasonable notice of material changes. Introducing a paid plan will not, by itself, change the free-plan commitment in section 6 for eligible beta merchants.
